How to change default port number for JBoss App. Server


1. Go to the JBoss Root folder for example “C:\dev\jboss-4.0.0”
2. Go to the Deploy folder. “C:\dev\jboss-4.0.0\server\default\deploy”
3. Go to the jbossweb-tomcat50.sar “C:\dev\jboss-4.0.0\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat50.sar”
4. Find the server.xml located inside that folder.
5. Change the folowing Tag

<!– A HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8080 –>
<Connector port=”8080″ address=”${jboss.bind.address}”
maxThreads=”150″ minSpareThreads=”25″ maxSpareThreads=”75″
enableLookups=”false” redirectPort=”8443″ acceptCount=”100″
connectionTimeout=”20000″ disableUploadTimeout=”true”/>

6. Change the port number
7. Restart the server
